NStar plan to cut trees angers residents in several towns

Wayland Town Crier 7/20/12: NStar plan to cut trees angers residents in several towns. Electric energy company NStar has released what some residents, town representatives and state legislators call an “unreasonable” plan to cut down trees and vegetation in Needham, Natick, Dover and Sherborn to maintain its power lines.

State representative Denise Garlick said that, based on her knowledge of similar projects in Wayland, it could profoundly impact the “quality and nature of the town of Needham.”
