Wayland’s financial statements are in excellent shape, according to independent auditor Melanson Heath & Company, which presented the results of its recent review of fiscal 2011 documents to the Board of Selectmen last week. “The best thing I can tell you is that the process went well,” said Scott McIntire, CPA. “Everything is reconciled and timely, and you’re right where you should be to preserve the community’s AAA credit rating.”
