Wayland’s Pascual-Leone earns soccer honor

Wayland Town Crier 12/13/11: Wayland’s Pascual-Leone earns soccer honor. Each year, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) selects All-America teams at the youth, high school and college levels. To be nominated, a player must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or better (on a 4.0 scale), must have demonstrated excellence in soccer at the high school level and must have performed service in his or her community.
For the 2011 season, senior forward and captain, Nico Pascual-Leone, has been selected. He is one of three scholar-athletes from Massachusetts and one of only 33 chosen from the entire nation at all positions. He will attend the All-America luncheon, honoring this year’s recipients, at the Kansas City Convention Center. The luncheon will be held during the 65th annual NSCAA Convention on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 12 noon.
