Phoenix14News Online 9/11/11: Remembering Lauren Astley. After all meeting and talking on their class of 2015 Facebook page, the soon-to-be new Elon students were excited to get to know each other. Many students from the class of 2015 can attest to how excited they were to meet one person in particular, Lauren Astley. Annie Schaffer was supposed to be her roommate and spend all summer getting to know her new friend.
