NSTAR 9/1/11 4pm:  Wayland outages down to 6.6% (355 households).  Here's the latest update link:  http://www.nstar.com/residential/outage_towns-9-1-16.pdf.  Nearly 1100 households restored since the same time yesterday.

NSTAR 9/1/11 4am:  At this time NSTAR approximately 15,000 customers without power (1,216 in Wayland, 22% of Wayland households). Please check the latest information for customer outages and restoration estimates.   The outages are widely scattered, with the areas most affected being the South Shore, Cape Cod and MetroWest.

NSTAR 8/31/11 12pm: NSTAR is making great progress in restoring our customers. Though there's still a way to go, we have been able to shorten the amount of time we anticipate customers will be without power. At this time we have 35,000 customers without power, down from 84,000 yesterday morning. Please check the latest information for customer outages and restoration estimates.
