Rep. Tom Conroy to end Town-to-Town walk in Boston

Wayland Town Crier 8/8/11:  Rep. Tom Conroy to end Town-to-Town walk in Boston.  State Rep. Tom Conroy, D-Wayland, is over halfway through a Town-to-Town Walk in his campaign to unseat Scott Brown in the U.S. Senate, a journey that has taken him from his home in Wayland to Fitchburg and Leominster, up into the Berkshires and down into Worcester, and recently winding through New Bedford and entering the Cape.

On Saturday, Sept. 3, Conroy will walk the last of his 600-mile journey with supporters from around the state. You can join him at 11:30 a.m. for the last mile at the intersection of Massachusetts and Commonwealth avenues in Boston. Conroy and his supporters will then walk to Boston Common, and the celebration will begin at noon at the bandstand. The group will also be toasting Tom and Sarah's wedding anniversary!
