Wayland Town Crier 8/7/11: Longtime Wayland resident recognized by the state.  A longtime Wayland native was recently honored by the state for his many years of dedication and service to the cause of increasing the supply of affordable homes and rental apartments in Wayland.

Charles Raskin received a “Local Housing Heroes Award” from the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) during its annual two-day Housing Institute training for local officials last month at the Marriott Spring Hill Suites and Conference Center at Devens.

Raskin was one of three people from across the state to be recognized during an awards luncheon on June 21.
