Wayland Town Crier 7/25/11: Wayland dog does good work in Joplin, Mo.. Gracie, a 5-year-old golden retriever and registered therapy dog who lives in Wayland with the Penrose family, returned recently from Joplin, Mo., where she visited with tornado victims and volunteers alike. John Penrose escorted Gracie on the 4,000-mile roundtrip in his pick-up truck, loaded with donations from generous Wayland and Weston residents.
