Wayland Town Crier 7/4/11: Wayland and Weston residents ready for Pan-Mass. Challenge. On Aug. 6 and 7, residents from Wayland and Weston will ride in the 32nd annual Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC), the nation’s pioneer charity bike-a-thon that raises more money than any other athletic fundraising event in the country. They will be among 5,000 cyclists who will ride with the collective goal of raising $34 million to support lifesaving adult and pediatric cancer care and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. To become a virtual rider, or make a financial contribution to a rider from your town, go online or call 1-800-WE-CYCLE. Checks can be made payable to PMC, 77 Fourth Ave., Needham MA 02494.
