On behalf of the Wayland Police Department, I offer our heartfelt condolences to the Astley family and to Lauren’s friends and classmates, many of whom are recent graduates of Wayland High School. I know our community will come together to help comfort and console the Astley family and Lauren’s many friends.
I assure the people of Wayland, that we will continue to work tirelessly, in conjunction with the Massachusetts State Police and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, to see that justice is served in this case.
