The Wayland Baseball and Softball Association (WBSA) will team up with Little League Baseball and the Jimmy Fund for a special summer season

Come to the field and support the kids and help raise awareness and money for a great cause.

Children in Wayland have partnered with local towns in Assebet Valley, Weston and Lincoln/Sudbury to start a Jimmy Fund West Tournament and will be among the thousands of boys and girls, ages 9 – 14, participating in this year’s Jimmy Fund Little League Program.

“Please welcome Wayland members and be generous to help them take a ‘swing at cancer,’” says Mike Andrews, chairman of the Jimmy Fund and a former Boston Red Sox and Little League player. “This is a great program to teach children the importance of helping others.”

The money raised goes directly to lifesaving cancer research and care at Dana-Farber. This worthwhile cause is the motivation behind my efforts on behalf of the many this terrible disease has touched—mothers, fathers, children, friends and neighbors.

I would greatly appreciate both your cheers from the bleachers and your support and gifts.
