Wayland Patch 6/16/11: Wayland Resident Moderates Panel at Men's Health Summit. Wayland resident Dr. Christopher Lathan last Saturday moderated the panel discussion for Whittier Health Center's Annual Men's Health Summit. He was joined by Roberto Clemente Jr., son of the legendary Baseball Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente, and Frederica Williams, CEO of Whittier Health Center. The summit offered free health screenings, social resources and panel discussions on men's health. More than 300 gathered at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury to attend Whittier's annual event. Lathan is currently researching racial disparities in lung cancer patients and is the faculty director for Cancer Care Equity at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
