Wayland Town Crier 5/29/11: Wayland High School student wins National Merit Scholarship. National Merit Scholarship Corporation officials released the names of the first group of winners in the 56th annual National Merit Scholarship Program, which included Wayland High School student Neeti Singhal. Approximately 1,000 distinguished high school seniors have won corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarship awards financed by about 200 corporations, company foundations and other business organizations.
