New programming starting this month will liven up winter days for Wayland students enrolling in Wayland School Community Programs, Community Education offerings. For the first time, Chess Wizards is coming to Wayland as the national chess academy expands its program into Massachusetts. Classes cater to all levels of chess ability as each child is challenged by fun games and lessons from real Wizard teachers. The program has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, Chess Magazine, and more. WSCP is offering classes to Kindergarten through Grade 8 students, and enrollment in some schools has been brisk. Other programs being offered include Drama Kids International, Let’s Gogh Art, Little Cooks & Story Books, Super Soccer Stars and more.
