Have an interest in Wayland's history? If so, please consider joining the Wayland Historical Commission.  Our seven member board currently has two openings available to residents who would like to help preserve our historic assets through a variety of preservation and educational programs that include railroad artifacts, town monuments, historic gravestones, old homes, rare town documents, and archaeological finds.  With the 375th anniversary of Wayland's founding coming in 2013, now is a great time to get involved with preserving our history.  The Historical Commission meets on a monthly basis and there are a number of fascinating projects in the works in which new members can immediately become involved.  For more information, please visit the Historical Commission’s Web page or email Steve Curtin
