Wayland Town Crier 12/10/10: 'Wayland Reads' book takes place in aftermath of Katrina. On Sunday, the Wayland Library kicked off its second community "Wayland Reads" event. The goal is to foster community through a shared experience of literature, provide a culture of reading, and raise awareness of the value of books and libraries. The book chosen this time around is Zeitoun by Dave Eggers. "We hope as many Wayland residents as possible will join in by attending a book discussion, talking about the book with family and friends, and attending one of the special events planned for March," according to a statement from the library.
