Wayland Town Crier 12/3/10: Sudbury, Wayland discuss collaborative projects. Sudbury and Wayland officials last night brainstormed over collaborative projects – those that are already in the works – as well as ideas for the future. Both Wayland Town Administrator Fred Turkington and Sudbury Town Manager Maureen Valente declared that the recent efforts to streamline operations at the towns' transfer stations have been a success. Residents from both towns use the facility in Sudbury on Tuesday and the one in Wayland on Thursday. The ultimate goal is to combine the two facilities to save on personnel and operating costs.
