Standing room-only at interfaith talk on end-of-life care

Wayland Town Crier 10/23/10: Standing room-only at interfaith talk on end-of-life care. It was standing room-only on the evening of Oct. 17 at the Islamic Center of Boston (ICB) for the first of two sessions regarding optimal end-of-life care.

Sponsors of the program were the Weston-Wayland Interfaith Action Group (WWAIG) and Parmenter’s Wayside Hospice.

The panel discussion was moderated by Maggie Herzig, a senior associate with the Public Conversations Project who facilitated the dialogue between representatives of the three Abrahamic faith traditions along with a hospice chaplain.
