Wednesday, October 13, Golden Tones perform a Lively Lunch, Sherborn Inn, 11:30am

The Golden Tones Chorus will entertain during lunchtime at the Sherborn Inn, 33 North Main Street at the corner of Routes 16 and 27, on Wednesday, October 13, at 11:30 a.m. The fixed price for the luncheon ($22)  includes salad, a choice of entrée, and dessert and also includes tax,  gratuity, and a lively performance by the award winning Golden Tones Chorus.  A portion of the admission will support the musical outreach program of the chorus to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, senior centers, and intergenerational and faith communities. Noted piper Mr. Robert Sutherland of the Clan Sutherland will greet the guests with a variety of bagpipe melodies to begin the luncheon festivities.

Golden Tones members come from 11 metrowest communities and they are beginning their 23rd season. New members are always welcome to join our non-audition chorus-all you have to do is love to sing. The Golden Tones have sung at the Huntington Theater in Boston, at MCI in Framingham, and have been recognized by CNN as being exemplary for keeping healthy by singing into the senior years. Most of our 50-60 concerts per year are done at local senior facilities.

The sing-a-long performance at the Sherborn Inn will feature songs of the autumn, classics that were written over 100 years ago, favorites from "Annie Get Your Gun", and some surprises during the 75 minute show.
