Minuteman students compete at Future Farmers of America

Wayland Town Crier 4/19/10:  Minuteman students compete at Future Farmers of America. Students from Minuteman Career & Technical High School in Lexington recently competed at the 80th annual Massachusetts Future Farmers of America (FFA) convention in Sturbridge, Mass. In the Nursery Landscape event, the Silver Team Award went to senior John Bryant of Wayland, senior James Mack of Bedford, sophomore Sean Harris of Medford, and sophomore Joseph DeBassio of Ayer. Sophomore Collin Wallace of Wayland earned a second place individual award in the Soils Evaluation event, and John Bryant of Wayland was also earned a Silver Team Award in Safe Equipment Operations.
