Sunday, May 3, Wayland World’s Fair, Claypit Hill School, 2:30-5pm.

On Sunday, May 3 from 2:30-5pm, the Claypit Hill and Happy Hollow school councils are sponsoring a World’s Fair. This repeat event is in response to the positive reception the fair enjoyed among parents and children last May when the Claypit Hill School introduced it.  The Wayland World’s Fair, combining both elementary schools, will be held at Claypit Hill School. Again it will celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our own school families with its theme, "Diversity Is Our Strength."

Live performances, demonstrations, delicious foods, crafts, games and prizes will highlight 17 cultures. Children will get passports stamped as they travel through the fair, experiencing the sounds of languages and the uniqueness of customs that reflect  their school community.

All elementary school students and their families are invited. Admission to cover the costs of the event is $20 per family ($15 in advance), with checks made payable to Claypit Hill School.
