Wayland Town Crier 3/26/09: Dudley Chateau yet to reopen. Despite an attempt last fall to gut and renovate Wayland’s historic Dudley Chateau, the watering hole remains closed following a violent altercation that took place outside the establishment right after Christmas. Currently, a building permit is visible on the front door, and Natick attorney Ken Phillips who – along with his wife Mandy – hopes to buy the business, says he intends to open up again by mid-April.
