Wayland Library earns Community Shining Star Award

Wayland Town Crier 12/23/11: Wayland Library earns Community Shining Star Award. The Wayland Library was the recipient of a Community Shining Star Award at the Edinburg Center’s 11th “A Night of Shining Stars” on Nov. 30 at the Boston Marriott Newton Hotel. The library has been a great employer and supporter of Charles Webster Potter Place, a clubhouse program of The Edinburg Center. Since 2007, seven Potter Place members have worked as pages, an important role within the library. The page position is responsible for putting returned books, CDs and movies away, and for making sure that both the children’s room and main library are neat and well organized.
