After a lot of time and thinking, I would like to announce that I am running for School Committee of Wayland Public Schools. I am not running against anything.
- I am running for Wayland. Wayland is one of the highest performing districts in the commonwealth, and one of the best public schools in the country.
- I am running for our Teachers. It is because of our teachers that our children have the high-quality educational opportunities that they do. It is because of their selfless dedication and focus on learning and well-being of our children that our students thrive.
- I am running for our (and my) children. I want to work with the Wayland community to ensure that our schools continue to reflect the values of our town so that our children can grow and learn in a thoughtful, inclusive, and accepting environment, and become tomorrow’s leaders.
I have spent a career in education and service. From my time as a secondary school teacher and administrator, to being a college professor and administrator, and my time as an officer in the US Navy, I have sought to serve. I bring that same dedication to my desire to serve on school committee. I humbly ask for your vote.
