On Tuesday, April 16 at 1:00 p.m., The Council on Aging presents an Armchair Travel trip to Cuba with Photographer Nick DePasquale. It will be presented in person in the COA, and on Zoom. Nick will take you on a trip from the valley and fields of Viñales, Cuba to the capitol Havana through his photographs of the landscapes, buildings, cars, and people. Learn about the history and culture of this island located just 90 miles south of Florida, and the challenges that the wonderful, resourceful, and resilient Cuban people face on a day-to-day basis. US citizens are only allowed to travel to Cuba under the strictest of conditions. Nick was granted exclusive access to locations and people that are rarely seen by travelers.
