WaylandCAN announces new date for “How to Talk to Your Kids about Discrimination”

WaylandCAN’s Middle and High School parent workshop has a new date and location – Tuesday, March 19th, at the Town Building. “How to Talk to your Kids about Discrimination,” will be led by equity and inclusion consultants, The Manso Brown Group.

Some topics that will be addressed include:
  • What to do if your child is the target of discrimination?
  • What to do if your child is the aggressor?
  • What to do if your child is a bystander and how to encourage them to speak up?
  • How to have reciprocal conversations with your teen?
  • How to navigate what they see on social media?
