Attorney General finds School Committee intentionally violated Open Meeting Law

The most recent Open Meeting Law decision by the Attorney General involving Wayland boards and committees was issued yesterday, and found the School Committee had violated the Open Meeting Law intentionally in issuing inadequately detailed minutes.  The decision is available online here.

The School Committee has been involved in five decisions issued in the last two months, four of which have involved violations.  There are ten pending cases against the committee, and three which have been sent to the School Committee but not yet submitted to the Attorney General.
