First Parish in Wayland: Living in an Unfair World

On Nov. 12 at 10 a.m., the service theme will focus on fairness. “It’s just not fair!” From the time we were little we most likely had this sense that our world was simply not fair. Why is one person born into wealth, another poverty, one person with health, another with a disease, one gifted with a talent in sports or music or art and other’s not able to carry a tune, a ball or a paint brush. That the world is unfair does not seem to be in dispute, so now the next question: What are we going to do about it? Our UU faith has some suggestions.Rev. Deborah Bennett will lead the service.
