Wayland resident Chloe Marzilli is Stop & Shop’s patient ambassador in their “Help Cure Childhood Cancer” campaign

Earlier today, Stop & Shop and L’Oréal surprised Chloe Marzilli, a nine-year-old Wayland girl who recently completed treatment for cancer and the 2023 patient ambassador for Stop & Shop’s annual ‘Help Cure Childhood Cancer‘ campaign, with a giftbox of her favorite makeup goodies. Diagnosed with cancer at age six, Chloe is described as a ray of sunshine – with many commenting that she has the brightest smile and never lost her sparkle during treatment – and has a love for all things makeup, fashion, and hair.

During the event, Stop & Shop also presented Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with a check for over $760,900 – the total donations raised in stores across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and northern Connecticut during last month’s Help Cure Childhood Cancer campaign.
