First Parish in Wayland: Exploring Hinduism

Please join us on Jan. 8 at 10 a.m. for a service on the theme: “Exploring Hinduism.” With more than a billion adherents worldwide, Hindu traditions may be rooted in India but have a global presence. Learn more about the Hindu traditions in a short service, led by the Rev. Dr. Stephanie May, followed by opportunities for all ages to learn more by joining one of three discussion groups:

  • Samsara Discussion: Karma? Reincarnation? Learn more about these central Hindu ideas.
  • Food and Story: Enjoy the story of Ganesha’s Sweet Tooth and then make our own treats.
  • Images of the Divine: Explore the multiplicity of gods and goddesses in Hinduism through images.

For in-person attendance, please see our latest Covid protocols at https://www.uuwayland.org/covid-information/. You may also watch our services on YouTube or contact our office for Zoom information. To sign up for our newsletter, visit: https://www.uuwayland.org/NewsSignup.
