First Parish in Wayland: Exploring Earth-Based Religions

Please join us on Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. for a service on the topic of earth-based religions. In December, we explore the cluster of religions grounded in connections to the earth. In our short service, we will celebrate the upcoming Winter Solstice with a “Decking of the Halls.” Please bring your own greens or some will be provided. Following the all-ages service, everyone is invited to join one of three opportunities to learn more about earth-based religions.

  • Exploring the Pagan Wheel of the Year, Ritual and Activities, Laurel Whitehouse and Kate Holland
  • Native American Story and Environmental Activity, Rev. Stephanie
  • Celebrating, Honoring, Healing: A Collection of Earth-Based Rituals, Book Discussion with Suzanne Reitz, author, and Alyssa Lee, in-person and online

For in-person attendance, please see our latest Covid protocols at https://www.uuwayland.org/covid-information/. You may also watch our services on YouTube or contact our office for Zoom information. To sign up for our newsletter, visit: https://www.uuwayland.org/NewsSignup.
