Join one of the most beloved annual bike rides in Massachusetts

What: The Massachusetts Ride to Defeat ALS is one of the longest-standing bike rides in the state. In its 28th year, the ride features four routes: 10 mile, 25 mile, 50 mile and 100k routes, where riders raise funds to help local families living with ALS.

When: Sunday, September 18 from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Riders will return to Longfellow in waves, beginning around noon to enjoy the closing ceremony.

Who: Cheer on riders from various towns in Massachusetts including: Acton, Amesbury, Ashland, Billerica, Boston, Cambridge, Brighton, Framingham, Haverhill, Hingham, Hudson, Lexington, Melrose, Nahant, Needham, Newton, Norwood, Peabody, Plymouth, Revere, Shrewsbury, Somerville, Sudbury, Wayland, Wilmington, Wellesley, Woburn, and many more!

Interviews are available with bike teams, like AppleFriends4ALS who can talk about why they ride. John Hedstrom, J.D., Territory Executive, The ALS Association, New England can discuss event fundraising goals and share how the local chapter supports families living with ALS across the state.

Why: Raise up to $400,000 to support no-cost services like support groups, home visits, insurance counseling, referrals to community resources, durable medical equipment loans, the Care Connection program, education and more.
