There are four events for all ages and abilities: a 5-kilometer race sanctioned by USA Track & Field (USATF), a 2-mile competitive walk, kids’ races, and a non-competitive fitness walk.

The fitness walk starts at 9 a.m. It will be followed by the kids’ races at 10:30 a.m. and at 11 a.m. by the 5-kilometer race and the 2-mile competitive walk.

The fee is $20 for runners and walkers, $6 for kids’ run entrants. Day of race registration is available. The race will be held rain or shine.

More information and instant online registration for all events are available at http://www.dudleypond.org/sign-up.html.

The race begins at Mansion Beach, located at Mansion Road and Lakeshore Drive, near Route 126 and West Plain Street, in Wayland, Mass. The event will loop around the pond with a short hilly route through the residential area.

The Dudley Pond Association (www.dudleypond.org) is a nonprofit 501(c3) organization in Wayland. The DPA consists of an active group of neighbors and friends interested in keeping the pond clean, healthy and a resource to be proud of.
