  • The July Exhibit Through July 31. https://artswayland.com/collections/july-art-exhibit   Take some time to view the spectacular collection of art in our online July exhibit. The genres range in style, and the talent on display is second to none. This exhibit will be available for viewing through July 31.
  • Young Artists “Learning To Draw For Life” Virtual Class – 8 Saturdays beginning on July 23.  https://artswayland.com/pages/young-artists-learning-to-draw-for-life-course-ages-9-13  Local artist and drawing teacher Mei-Ling Ellerman will be teaching her drawing course for children through ArtsWayland. She has adapted her adult course for children, because she believes that if children this age are interested in drawing, they will really benefit from professional instruction. This course will help build their knowledge, techniques, skills, and confidence.
  • Adult Beginner “Learning To Draw For Life” Virtual Class – 8 Saturdays beginning on July 23rd   https://artswayland.com/pages/adult-beginner-learning-to-draw-for-life-course  If you have always wanted to learn how to draw, “Learning to Draw for Life” offers the perfect environment for you to pursue your goals. In this enjoyable 8-week online course, local artist and drawing teacher Mei-Ling Ellerman, teaches a curriculum that will both support and challenge you to hone your drawing skills. Carefully designed exercises and ample individualized feedback will strengthen your skills of observation, which will in turn rapidly improve your ability to draw accurately.
  • The W Gallery at Russell’s Farmer’s Market – Wednesday, September 7th from 12-4 pm  Join Arts Wayland at Russell’s Garden Center (397 Boston Post Road, Wayland) on Wednesday, September 7. 12-4pm. We will have a table filled with one-of-a-kind handmade artisanal pieces created by your local friends and neighbors. Shop local, and support the arts!
  • Mosaic Mirror Workshop, Saturday, October 15th from 9:30 am to 4:30pm, 111 Riverview Ave, Waltham, MA 02453   https://artswayland.com/pages/october-mosaic-mirror-workshop-with-amy-marks  In this one day workshop you will learn how to design a beautiful round mosaic mirror. You’ll create intricate and simple patterns using the richness of millefiori, beads, recycled jewelry and glass. The possibilities are endless.  You’ll also learn about the benefits of using apoxie sculpt as an adhesive (no grouting!) as well as the basics of color and design theory.
