First Parish in Wayland – July 3rd Service

Please join us on July 3 at 10 a.m. for a service on the theme, “Stillness Speaks.” How do we return to the beauty of silence in a world that seems to be full of more and more noise? Our stillness can also be revolutionary, and our silence can also be a powerful voice of change. Our service will focus on calming the mind in the storm rather than waiting for the storm to end. The service will be led by Patrick Foley. Erik Felton will serve as Lay Minister.

Our summer services, typically led by parishioners, offer a chance to come together for lively discussion and reflection on different topics. They include a presentation, readings, and meditations. A Lay Minister will be present each Sunday.

For the safety of us all, especially the young children and vulnerable among us, we recommend that everyone attending services wear a well-fitted surgical (or more protective) mask during the service and that all eligible attendees be vaccinated. You may contact our office for Zoom information. Please see uuwayland.org for more information. To sign up for our newsletter, visit: https://www.uuwayland.org/NewsSignup.
