Auditions for the Vokes Players’ fall production: A mystery directed by Chris Cardoni

Our contract prohibits us from announcing the actual title until September 1.

Auditions to be held Sunday and Monday, July 24 and 25, 7pm at Beatrice Herford’s Vokes Theatre (Callbacks if needed: Wednesday July 27)

Vokes Players is committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive community on our stage, through our creative and technical teams, and in our audience. Descriptions of the characters, including gender and ages range, are as they are depicted in the script. Actors of all ages, genders, races, and/or ethnic backgrounds are welcome to audition for any role.

COVID SAFETY: All actors must be fully vaccinated. No exceptions. Upon arrival, please enter the building masked and prepared to show proof of vaccination.

REHEARSALS: First read-through: Sunday, August 7 at 7:00 pm. Rehearsals: tentatively planned for Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday evenings at 7:00, beginning August 14. Final schedule will be based on actor availability and the necessities of the production.

PRODUCTION DATES:
Friday October 28 – 8pm
Saturday October 29 – 2pm & 8pm
Thursday & Friday November 3 & 4, 8pm
Saturday November 5 – 2pm & 8pm
Thursday & Friday November 10 &11, 8pm
Saturday November 12 – 2pm & 8pm
Possible extension: Nov. 17-19

CONFLICTS: Actors are asked to bring a full calendar of conflicts to the audition where they will be asked to list those conflicts on our audition form. A great number of conflicts, or conflicts in tech week or performances, will affect casting decisions.
