Wayland is partnering with the Big Brother Big Sister Foundation to allow residents to easily donate their clothing, textiles, small household items and more. Big Brother Big Sister Foundation has been collecting these items from homes across Massachusetts for over 25 years.

Making donations is easy. Residents can schedule a free home pickup by texting PICKUP to 508-466-4590. Residents can also schedule online at https://www.bbbsfoundation.org/schedule-a-pickup

These collections help to reuse or recycle used clothing and other items while diverting unwanted materials from the waste stream. Donating clothing helps the environment, helps save taxpayers money and helps clean out your closets.

All tax-deductible donations generate funds for both the town and Big Brother Big Sister mentoring programs which help thousands of children across the state.
