Adrian Yemin (grade 11, viola) has been selected to the 2021-22) NAfME All-National Orchestra. Adrian will represent Wayland in this prestigious event comprised of the top musicians from across the country. Additionally, Megan Chau (grade 12, violin) and Joshua Zhang (grade 12, trombone) have been selected as alternates.
The 2021-22 virtual event will include several rehearsals with the 2022 ANHE Conductors, workshops with renowned clinicians, and each ensemble will create a final, recorded performance which will be premiered online during the 38th-annual Music In Our Schools Month (MIOSM).
Students are selected based on their results in their home state’s All-State ensembles, their music resume, and a video recording submission.
