Postcard from the Future, September 26 and 30

What’s with the  👻👿💧💨weather?! Is it climate change – here, already? What about the future? Will it get worse? Can we do something about it? And what’s that going to take?

Good questions – kinda scary ones too, but not if we ask them together! At this interactive, collaborative event, we’re going to play some games to explore our visions of the future, and what we need to do to make it a bright one.

We’ll take a time machine to Wayland in the future, from where we’ll write a postcard to our “past” selves, reporting on what we see around us and what we did to address our concerns, to make it happen. And upon our return to today we won’t have to wait: we’ll start to make it happen right away!

These will be facilitated by Waylanders and global climate change activists, Pablo Suarez and Janot Mendler de Suarez, and the Wayland Climate Emergency Declaration petitioner, Michael Delman.
