Wayland High School Girl Scout encourages citizen scientists

Wayland Town Crier 8/12/21: Wayland High School Girl Scout encourages citizen scientists. In her tenure as a Girl Scout, Kristen (a recent Wayland High School graduate) has worked on community service projects ranging from supporting dog shelters to inspiring young children to read. When it came time to come up with a project for her Gold Award (an honor awarded to fewer than 6% of Girl Scouts annually), Kristen wanted to do something that would help her community appreciate and preserve the trails she loves. Kristen has partnered with the Sudbury Valley Trustees to produce and install five picture posts in both Wayland and Sudbury that would help community members document environmental change in the area.
