Wayland Town Beach offers sun and fresh water swimming on Lake Cochituate. During the season, the beach has lifeguards and the water quality is tested weekly by the Wayland Health Department. Members can enjoy family events, boat rentals, swimming lessons, and complimentary lounge chairs. Boat rentals start at $15 per hour and include sailboats, kayaks, canoes, standup paddleboards, and pedal boats. Town Beach opens Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 28 for weekends only, and then daily beginning June 18.
Amenities include: complimentary lounge chairs, free parking, outdoor showers, changing rooms, restrooms, full snack bar, and a shaded picnic grove with charcoal grills, ADA accessible boat dock, a playground, sand volleyball, cornhole tetherball and half-basketball court.
