Please join us online or outdoors on Wednesday, October 14 at 7:00 p.m. to shine a light on the issue of  Domestic Violence in our communities. Everyone is asked to register at https://tinyurl.com/purplelightvigil. We will be joined by civic and religious community leaders from Wayland, Lincoln, and Sudbury. The Vigil will also gather outdoors on the First Parish in Wayland Lawn –masks and social distancing required. The Purple Lights Campaign, in which several local organizations participate, honors Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The campaign raises awareness about the prevalence of domestic violence and the three to four women and girls who are murdered each day in our country within intimate relationships.

This event is cosponsored by the Wayland Interfaith Leaders Association, the Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable, and the Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Fund.
