Wayland High School is pleased to announce a heart screening program being offered during the school day on Wednesday, November 20th. The program will be provided by Mass Heartbeat, a local organization that specializes in mobile ECG heart screening.
This program is a unique opportunity for students to receive a valuable health test in the comfort of their own school. The test, which is pain-free and takes less than 5 minutes, can catch underlying issues in the heart that are not detected during an annual physical. Participating in the screening will also provide students with a baseline ECG reading that could be useful in the future.
