Food “waste” is a misnomer and is easily remedied! Trimmings, peels, leftovers, and expired foods can be turned into “black gold”: compost.If you want to compost, order a discounted compost bin at $67, by emailing info@transitionwayland.org before March 31. Pickup is on Saturday, April 7 only, between 10 AM and 2 PM at Wayland’s Department of Public Works (66 River Road).
