Wayland Town Crier 1/25/18: American Legion honors veterans around Wayland. To give recognition to military veterans in assisted living and nursing communities in Wayland, members of the Charles H. Alward Post 133 of American Legion visited these communities during the weeks before Christmas. They visited Traditions of Wayland, Sunrise of Wayland, Carriage House at Lee’s Farm, and Royal Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, presenting a medallion with a neck ribbon to each veteran and each widow of a veteran.
