On Saturday, January 13, between 10 AM – 2 PM, put on your sunglasses and visit the MassEnergize table at the winter-wonderful Farmers Market in the balmy greenhouses of Russell’s Garden Center. Bring your reusable shopping bags, browse the offerings of local, fresh veggies and breads, jams, cheeses and meats, enjoy lunch, and learn about all the many things you can do about climate change.
MassEnergize has vetted and committed partners who can help you reduce the greenhouse gas emissions in your home, diet, transport, you name it. They have bargained some great deals and discounts and put it all in one menu on www.MassEnergize.org.
At the Market, local volunteers will tell you all about it, and they’ll host their Solarize Mass partners, SolarFlair and New England Solar Hot Water. The sign-up phase for Solarize is ending on January 31, so this would be a good time to talk with these folks if you haven’t already!
