The cost to install solar panels through a program in three local communities has increased following a ruling by a federal trade commission. The Solarize Lincoln-Sudbury-Wayland program increased the cost of solar photovoltaic systems, which convert sunlight to electricity. The increase, announced earlier this month, affects people who did not already have a signed contract with installer SolarFlair Energy.
