Wayland residents are invited to attend a public meeting hosted by the Wayland Recreation Commission to update residents on a proposed schematic design of a single multi-purpose rectangular field at Loker Recreation site. Weston & Sampson Engineers (the project’s consultant) will review considerations like access to the site, field layout, parking considerations, utilities and other infrastructure Presenters will discuss the need for additional fields in town to support the demand and to maintain safe playing conditions of all sites in town. Community input is essential in order to develop a plan that best meets Wayland’s needs.
