Boston Globe 5/9/17: No charges filed in June crash that killed cyclist in Lincoln. Authorities have completed their investigation into the death of a 61-year-old bicyclist who was killed last June in a crash in Lincoln. Lincoln police said Tuesday that Eugene Thornberg, of Wayland, died after he fell in front of the back tires of a dump truck stopped on Concord Road. He was run over when the vehicle began to move with traffic, police said.

The driver of a Dumpster truck that ran over and killed a Wayland man in Lincoln in June 2016 will not face any charges, authorities announced on Tuesday. In a release, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Lincoln Police Chief A. Kevin Kennedy ruled the June 16 crash that killed Eugene Thornberg, 61, as an accident.
