DCR and Eversource are completing a memorandum of understanding for the construction and maintenance of the paved trail that will run from Route 126 (Wayland Library) to the far end of Weston, which is about 4 miles. Construction is expected to begin late this summer. Including the just completed town center section, this will be a total of 4.5 miles of trail.  The permit request with the Conservation Commission has been moved out to May/June time frame.

You may have noticed the cement pads at the road crossings were redone.  The original pads did not meet code and the contractor needed to replace them.
